During the holidays and throughout the year, Golden’s Thriving Communities Navigation Program gratefully accepts donations and gently used items. Read to learn more about the program and accepted donations to help our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness, are unhoused, or at risk of losing their housing.

About Golden's Thriving Communities Navigation Program

The City of Golden’s Thriving Communities Community Resource and Housing Navigation Program identifies resources for individuals experiencing homelessness and also assists people experiencing a housing crisis by helping them navigate resources and support to maintain their housing. These resources assist many at-risk and older adults in our Golden community and are designed to stop homelessness before it begins. The Navigation Program partners with several community organizations and local churches.

NAVIGATION PROGRAM WISHLIST:

Donations and Gently Used Items:

Walmart gift cards
King Soopers gift cards (food and gas)
RTD Bus tickets
Men’s pants and long-sleeved shirts (pants 32x30;34 and larger)
Shirts: Large and XL

Items listed below will be accepted gently used or can be purchased using our Amazon wishlist*:

Simple Mobile phones (or any disposable phone) and phone minute cards
Storage bins
Portable phone chargers
Backpacks, duffel bags
As you get ready for winter, perhaps you'll find you have extra cold weather clothing/ gear:

Men and women’s jackets
Men’s boots and shoes sizes- 9.5, 10, 10.5, 11, 12, 14

Move-in Kits:

Air mattress
Dish soap
All-purpose cleaner
Broom and a dustpan
Paper plates/cups and utensils
